My name is Hakim Drari, born in the Red City, Marrakech. The city that ignited in me the love for art from a young age and turned that burning passion into a profession that I adore.

I organize workshops to learn Arabic or Hebrew calligraphy in various countries worldwide and represent my country, Morocco, in many international events and gatherings.

I studied the subject of Arabic calligraphy, artistic taste, and principles of aesthetics in some schools and institutes of visual arts in Marrakech.

I studied the basic principles of Arabic calligraphy under the spiritual mentor of calligraphy in the Arab world, “Mohammed Hashem Al-Baghdadi”. Then, I traveled to Turkey and Egypt for training courses with renowned calligraphy masters.

I obtained a bachelor’s degree in audiovisual and visual arts from Al Qadi Ayyad University in Marrakech.
After returning to my hometown, I dedicated myself entirely to the art of calligraphy as an independent artist since 2002.

I was inspired by the beautiful culture of my country, with its diversity and charm, as well as its unique integration and harmony with everything human and refined.
